Cognition Without Computation
š Weekly paper summary
This week's "paper" is an interesting article I recently re-read that questions whether cognition requires computation or results from other self-organizational processes and computation is an illusion. It seems abstract relative to the usual material, but it directly applies to the Ecological Dynamics theory I've discussed in previous newsletters.
š§ Fun fact of the week
Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of just how large the earth is. Consider Point Nemo, the most remote place on earth. So remote that the closest humans to this area at any given time are likely to be astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

š£ Quote of the week
"Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."
- Maya Angelou
I think this is a great quote that applies to many contexts!
